VenuesLive committed to helping fellow Australians impacted by the bushfire crisis

As our 2020 events roll out across the VenuesLive network, we continue to acknowledge the devastating impacts of the bushfires, droughts and flooding that have caused so much suffering in our Australian communities this summer.

I know we had some staff members who were personally affected by the bushfires, and I want to convey the company’s best wishes to you and your families.

VenuesLive is committed to doing whatever we can in the community to support the relief, recovery and rebuild efforts in the bushfire-affected areas.

The centrepiece of our fundraising activities is the Fire Fight Australia Concert for National Bushfire Relief on Sunday 16 February at ANZ Stadium, a fundraising concert, promoted by TEG Live and TEG Dainty.

We also had the privilege of hosting 4000 volunteers from the NSW Rural Fire Service at the first ever concert held at Bankwest Stadium featuring legendary Aussie bands Cold Chisel and Hoodoo Gurus. The event was an enormous success and showcased the venue in concert mode to the community and entertainment industry. Congratulations to all involved for your efforts in delivery such a successful event.

I am proud of the response to this crisis from our VenuesLive family and urge everyone to continue to look out for our colleagues and families.  We recognise the opportunity we have to make a difference in our wider community and we are committed to helping our fellow Australians to recover and rebuild.
