Graham Mason, Head of Media, Communications & Government Relations, Optus Stadium
Channel Seven’s The Game program returned to Optus Stadium earlier this month – the first “event” back at the Stadium.
The Game is Channel Seven’s half hour AFL highlight and analysis show, focusing on our two local teams, West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers.
While WA’s two local teams haven’t been fairing so well while stuck in foreign territory in the Gold Coast hub, as always, with football there was plenty to discuss.
Channel Seven loves broadcasting The Game live from Optus Stadium.
As the sun set, the lights and colours really pop and combined with the Super Screens as a backdrop, it showcases the venue beautifully.
Once again Seven Sport stalwart Mark Readings hosted, this assisted by The West Australian’s chief football writer Mark Duffield and former 200+ AFL gamer and Dockers cult hero Shaun McManus.
AFL fixtures pending, Channel Seven hope to be out at Optus Stadium on as many Sundays as possible in 2020.
