Ever wondered how you’d go with Buzz Lightyear, Wall-E, Lightning McQueen and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan standing in the way of a hole-in-one?

This week, hundreds of families, friends, golf-lovers and geometry nuts have descended on Bankwest Stadium to try and answer that question at Pixar Putt.

Featuring 18 holes based around some of your favourite Pixar movies (think: The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc. and more), Pixar Putt has come to the Stadium Precinct as one of the most unique events of 2020.

The course opened last Saturday with almost 700 people filtering through across the day, and will keep running between 10am and 9pm, 7 days a week until 25 October.

Designed to challenge anyone from eight-years-old to adults, Pixar Putt is a mishmash of obstacles, sabotage and good old putt putt fun for all.

After a challenging year for events and with COVID-19 at the front of everyone’s mind, the VenuesLive team and Pixar Putt staff have worked to make sure the course is both fun and COVIDSafe for patrons.

Initiatives like social distancing between each hole, hand sanitiser at each tee and cleaning of equipment after every use means everyone can enjoy the challenge of Pixar Putt in a COVIDSafe environment.

And Pixar Putt isn’t the only Disney event at Bankwest Stadium this spring, beginning on 22 October, the Bankwest Stadium northern carpark will be home the Disney+ Drive-In Cinema.

From Toy Story to Disney Princesses, your favourite Marvel characters and more – these two events will spark the imagination of even our most hardened colleagues.
