Terms & Conditions – Permanent Employees

What is Refer & Earn?

VenuesLive will offer the majority of permanent and casual employees’ access to an employee referral bonus when referring casual employees for employment with VenuesLive.

Who can refer?

Whilst majority of staff are eligible to participate in the Refer & Earn bonus scheme, certain staff will be ineligible to prevent any actual or perceived conflicts of interest.

Ineligible staff include:

  • General Managers and members of the Leadership Team
  • Permanent members of Human Resources and the Staffing Operations and Services Team
  • Kitchen Staffing (Permanent and Casual Kitchen Staff who are already involved in the sourcing and rostering of casual employees)
  • Casual Staffing Services team members who are already involved in the sourcing and rostering of casual employees
  • Any other permanent staff member who is already involved in the sourcing and rostering casual staff (e.g. Speciality Venues Catering and Operations Managers, etc)

The referral bonus will be linked directly to roles that are being advertised via the VenuesLive website at www.venueslive.com.au.

Who can be referred?

No referral bonus is payable for any employee who has previously been employed or referred to VenuesLive or whom VenuesLive already holds an existing employee record for.

Refer & Earn Criteria

The referral bonus is available only for roles that are being advertised via the VenuesLive website at www.venueslive.com.au and meet the below criteria.

Only trade qualified Chefs and front of house staff holding a current RSA are eligible positions for the Refer & Earn bonus.

Eligible roles include:

  • Chefs (must be trade qualified)
  • Retail Food and Beverage Staff (must hold RSA)
  • Premium Product Staff (must hold RSA)
  • Kitchen Food Service Attendants (must hold RSA)
  • Venue Staff (must hold RSA and be willing to work in Catering)

How does Refer & Earn work?

  1. When applying for an advertised role on the VenuesLive Recruitment Page applicants must enter the first and last name of the existing staff member who referred them under the section:
    ‘Were you referred by an existing staff member of VenuesLive?’
  2. The referred employee must work a minimum of three (3) shifts within the first three (3) months of employment
  3. Once the above criteria are met, the employee who referred the person will receive the applicable bonus.

Payment of Bonus

The staff member who made the referral will receive a bonus as per the below categories.

$50 bonus is payable for following roles:

  • Retail Food and Beverage Staff (must hold RSA)
  • Premium Product Staff (must hold RSA)
  • Kitchen Food Service Attendants (must hold RSA)
  • Venue Staff (must hold RSA and be willing to work in Catering)

$250 bonus is payable for the following roles:

  • Chefs (must be trade qualified)

Referral bonus payments will be paid in the payroll period of the referred employee’s third completed shift.

Time Period

The Refer & Earn program commences immediately until the 16 September 2022.

VenuesLive will not accept any referrals after 16 September 2022 and the 3 shifts must be worked by no later than 15 December 2022.
