DARYL KERRY
MANGING DIRECTOR AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
One of Australia’s most accomplished and respected venue and sporting administrators, with more than 30 years’ experience in sports business and the event and venue industry.
His career in the venue industry stretches back to the early 1980s when he joined the State Sports Centre, well before the Sydney Olympic Park precinct became the centrepiece for Sydney’s bid to host the Sydney 2000 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
In 1998, Daryl secured a lead role in venue management with the Sydney Olympic Games Organising Committee (SOCOG) and joined the consortium that won the right to design and build Sydney’s Olympic Stadium, playing a key role in operating the Olympic Stadium on behalf of SOCOG.
Daryl’s sports business acumen has helped secure and deliver some of Australia’s most iconic sport and entertainment events. He remains passionate about sport and events and recognises the central role that stadiums have as vibrant hubs of community activities, bringing people together and making a positive difference in our communities.
Daryl is Chief Executive Officer of both Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium as part of the company’s contract with the NSW Government.
STEVE HEYTMAN
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Steve is a highly-respected commercial and finance professional who has teamed his expertise with sports administration for the past 25 years.
Like Daryl, Steve has been with the core venue management team since prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympic & Paralympic Games and has played a key role in the execution of many of Australia’s most iconic sport and entertainment events. He is passionate about recreation as a way of binding family and friends and has seen first-hand how sport and entertainment contribute to economic growth through business investment and employment while also instilling a sense of city, community and national pride.
Steve has been central to various restructures of the business including the ICG Diversified Infrastructure Trust’s acquisition of Stadium Australia in 2007 and the delisting of the Stadium Australia Group, the acquisition of catering from Sodexho and internalising the catering operation at our venues, early reversion of ANZ Stadium to the NSW Government in 2016, and the ultimate establishment of VenuesLive.
He is Chief Operating Officer at VenuesLive and plays a lead role in all major event and commercial negotiations.
